Job Duties:

·      The Senior Architect will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of data integration solutions for Data Warehouse and/or leading the design and managing the development through an offshore Development team.

·      The Architect/Developer will work closely with Reporting/Business Analysts, Reporting developers, Data Modelers, source systems owners and ETL developers to ensure design and implementation of optimal DW/BI solutions.

·      Participate in overall SDLC: source and data analysis/profiling, code and database development, unit and system testing, deployment, post-production tuning and monitoring, etc.

·      Coordinate activities with infrastructure engineers, DBA and support team as needed for projects related or impacting DW backend processes.

·      Design ETL solutions using Informatica, PL\SQL, Shell scripts, etc.

·      Develop, test and implement data integration solutions for Data Warehouse using Unix ksh scripts, PL/SQL and other ETL tools and technologies

·      Modify and enhance existing ETL processes, perform reverse engineering, research and suggest improvement, perform impact analysis, etc.

·      Understands business 'drivers' and assess tradeoffs of implementing long-term architecture, and data integration strategies vs. implementing short-term but quick wins to business -

·      Architect and implement data warehouse solutions

·      Ensures that projects follow the prescribed development life cycle and meets quality standards

·      Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Must Have:

·      Ability to conduct discovery, perform root cause analysis, and make recommendations for the remediation of data quality issues

·      The ability to design and recommend data policies and governance structures and control frameworks for the ongoing management of data

·      Hands on experience in developing and implementing enterprise data architecture and complex data models for operational and data warehouse applications

·      In depth knowledge of Data Integration concepts, approaches, and tools and the role of data architecture in successful implementation of data integration strategy

·      Experience in design and implementation of at least one of leading Business Intelligence packages (e.x., SAP Business Objects ….)

·      Knowledge of business intelligence best practice processes, tools, standards and practices

·      Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills

·      Demonstrated experience and success in facilitation of reporting and analytics business requirements would be desired

·      Experience with Reporting , Analytics and Dashboard Design best practices

·      In depth knowledge of business processes and business information models in a data warehousing context preferably in a SAP BW Environment is a plus

·      Applies Knowledge in the field of Business Intelligence and Data warehousing to resolve complex issues, to analyze of situations or data which requires an evaluation of intangibles to define the solution

·      Worked extensively on DataStage, Oracle SQL loader, SQL, PL/SQL, Visual Basic and UNIX Scripts

·      Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

·      Must have excellent client-facing skills; solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; strong ability to work independently when appropriate

·      Provides training and mentorship to other professional employees

·      Must be willing to travel to our client sites to support issues

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field with experience or a foreign equivalent.
