Responsibilities:
- Manage data conversion related activities for the project.
- Identify potential risks and create and execute plans to mitigate them.
- Work closely with the clients (including various counties) to understand the requirements and manage client deliveries related to data conversions.
- Provide reliable forecasts to HPSL management.
- Provide periodical status reports to HPSL and the client management.
- Work with the other teams in the project (App, testing etc.) to resolve issues.
- Understand the analysis and technical work performed by the team and propose ways of increasing productivity.
- Manage a team of developers including task assignments, measure efficiencies, provide performance review input and indication of area of development.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database (2008).
- 3+ years of experience in ETL Development using SSIS Tool (SQL Server Integration Services).
- 3+ years of experience in using T-SQL.
- Good knowledge in Erwin tool and understanding data model entities and their relationships.
- Strong data conversion experience from a variety of data sources (IDMS, VSAM).
- Able to easily communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Manages and resolves data conversion approach issues and is responsible for all data conversion activities.
- 5 years of experience managing large data conversion projects using SQL Server.
- Create data models based on existing data requirements and to-be data relationships.
- Participate in JAD sessions to elaborate data requirements.
- Create and implement data model designs and documentation.
- Implement data models in SFDC.
- Worked in an client environment with frequent client interactions.
- Managed project plan and Schedule using MS Project.
Optional Skills:
- Experience with DMV projects a plus.
