- A key team member of 15 Senior Systems Engineers supporting a global network of over 5000 Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers. The operating system versions included RHEL 4 through RHEL 7 on both physical as well as virtual systems.
- Selected as the primary representative to be fully involved with Red Hat in their new initiative for the Enterprise Linux 7 global high touch beta test program, which lasted several months in duration. Personally quoted by a Red Hat Executive during the 2014 Red Hat Summit.
- Lead a project that was targeted to a complete revitalization of a standardized formatting of 350 primary wiki pages, which took over several weeks of planning, and several months of implementation. The new standardized wiki page allowed templates of each of the primary application, which in turn allowed links into a workload management tool.
- Attended many Red Hat Taste of Training webinars to increase my knowledge in various areas concerning the operating system as well as other supported areas within the RHEL environment.
- Involved with the IBM GPFS proof of concept from the initial week of training through full enterprise implementation. This involved building out a suite of 3 primary servers as well as 5 other servers in a supporting role. Continued attendance of weekly meetings for a conversion within the complex of 350 servers dedicated to this new initiative.
- Utilized Red Hat Satellite Server 5.7 for keeping baselines of the thousands of servers in sync. This also included creation of specific software channels associated. Built out 240 new pricing servers to assist for the yearly production process increase.
- Assisted with the flex cache filer migration. This involved migrating 14 total flex cache storage arrays over a 4-day period of time.
