  • With more than seventeen years of proposal management experience, I have been responsible for managing multiple aspects of business pursuits leading teams to develop and implement pursuit strategies, value propositions, win themes, and identify synergies on multi tower deals to a high level that I expect from not only myself, but from my team. I have extensive experience with both government and commercial pursuits in multiple industries.

  • Leading teams of bid coordinators, writers, pursuit marketing/graphic design artists, operations, and sales leads, working closely with financial/commercial analysts and subject matter experts (SMEs)/solution architects.

  • Work with members of the sales and business development teams to create strategic alliances with partners, executives, senior managers, and other business units to help achieve overall company and specific business unit goals.
  • Develop high quality proposals, qualification documents, presentations, and other meeting documents including orals leave-behinds and branding collateral.
  • Analyze and understand requirements contained in Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and general capability requests.
  • Manage the response process from beginning to end, including the templates, responsibility matrix, pursuit timeline, schedule internal review calls to acquire executive approvals to bid, assign a bid team, setup pursuit codes for the team to charge their time and expenses, schedule checkpoint calls to review outstanding items, assign reviewers, maintain document management/control throughout the process, collaborate with technical writers and assigning tasks, track the tasks and deadlines, write sections of the response as required, coordinate and type changes, proofread the final document for flow and grammar errors, create unique graphic cover to proposals (or work with graphics team for complex designs), oversee the entire production process (coordinate with outside vendors for production if required), create the Oral Presentation document (if required), and follow-up to all proposal shipments.
  • Setup the shared team site (SharePoint T-Room), maintain the site, and archive final deliverables to the company-wide knowledge management online system.
