The Technical Report Developer will utilize the MS Reporting Framework to design, develop, implement and support mission - critical Business Intelligence (BI) reports. Working with cross-functional teams, you will gather business requirements, design the reports and utilize the same resources to test and validate the reports once implemented. Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements
Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources
Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
Produce complex 'ad-hoc' queries and reports requested by business units

4+ years of professional BI Report Development experience
5-7 years writing complex SQL Queries (MS SQL Server), stored procedures, etc.
Experience working on Medium to Large Scale Implementation Projects
Ability to use SQL Server Reporting Tools (Designer, SSRS, etc.)
Advanced user of Microsoft Word (Merge Fields, Formatting Syntax, etc.)
Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures
Eye for Visual Design
Writing SQL Queries using LINQ statements
