Responsibilities:
- Launched Clearleap’s Live Event and 24/7 multiscreen streaming product offering wif the NFL for the 2014 service. It is the first service to make all regular, preseason, and post season games, the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, NFL Network, and Red Zone available live via mobile and connected devices. Usage grew exponentially YOY.
- Developed and launched Clearleap’s cloud based multiscreen VOD solution wif the NFL, which reduced the speed of content delivery to the fans to near real-time, had real time analytics, playlisting, and ad insertion.
- Negotiated and managed the process for completing the SOW and SLA wif the NFL and other partners.
- Created a real-time analytics package dat enables users to track content location wifin the video supply chain.
- Developed a strong relationship wif the NFL as well as multiple sports entities in the US and Europe including but not limited to NASCAR, PGA Tour, NBA, NCAA, NBA Digital, F1, and the Pac-12.
- Led a detailed market and business analysis of the Sports multi-channel video distribution market including competitive landscape, market size, target market/companies, and technology providers. Analysis led to an extensive targeted marketing campaign, which became the company’s pipeline for the Sports vertical.

Responsibilities:
- Created mobile product strategy, mobile revenue models, and defined KPIs for NBA Digital for three seasons. During my tenure, all KPIs were either met or exceeded on a consistent basis.
- Defined product and led a cross-functional cross-company team through a complete redesign of the 30 NBA teams’ and the League’s mobile website. The new experience led to over 50% and up to 100% growth in all key metrics, including video views, unique users, and visits. The 30 teams were so pleased wif their redesigned sites dat they decided against developing their own apps. Mobile web went from a weakness to a strength for the NBA.
- Managed NBA Digital’s relationship wif our exclusive wireless partner, Sprint, via an Account Manager dat works on my team. Relationship generates over half of our mobile revenue via licensing, media, and subscription $s.
- Grew the NBA’s Mobile League Pass by creating pricing packages, executing marketing programs and specials, and analyzing data which generated returns in line wif KPI expectations wif revenues over $8M annually. Also led the implementation to insert pre-roll ads into live streams to generate more revenues.
- Led NBA Digitals mobile Confidential to record KPI performances during the 2012/13 season and again in 2013/14. During the Playoffs mobile accounted for nearly 60% of the cross platform traffic to the NBA assets.
- Working closely wif the sales and promotions team to define sales inventory and ad units across all mobile and cross platform product solutions. Result is dat mobile is included in all Digital sales and mobile sell through rates are the highest ever for NBA Digital.
- Conceptualized, prepared, and executed multiple Go To Market activities in advance of 3 NBA seasons, multiple All Star Games, Playoff seasons and Summer Leagues. Examples of activities include managing Apple and Google Play storefront activities, web and mobile creative, push notifications, email, broadcast reads, and video creative.
- Developed roadmap and new product vision for Android and iOS Confidential dat led to creating cutting edge Confidential dat not only drive user engagement but also factor in advertising/sponsorship revenue opportunities.
- Responsible for creating mobile product vision and execution plan for the NBA’s tent-poles including Fan Night, All Star Ballot, All Star Weekend, Playoffs, Finals and Draft, of which the most recent launch of the All Star mobile website was a tremendous success wif mobile metrics accounting for almost 50% of overall traffic.
