  • Set up QuickBooks as the new financial reporting tool for 2017. The set up included: multicurrency functionality; chart of accounts; payroll; bank and credit card accounts; inventory by part, by assembly and by group; classes by department and by expo for tracking of expenses; customized invoice layout for international sales.
  • Payroll process improvement: payment method converted from checks to direct deposit and converted the payroll cycle from bimonthly to biweekly. This process change allowed for 3 days to process timesheets, created a consistent payroll schedule, and reduced the cash flow impact for 10 months of the year due to payments being paid out of 26 pay periods versus 24 pay periods.
