Sale Proposal:
- Humana's Account Installation team for a prospect will setup a group for the customer and SPC Sales Pricing Contracts system uses this group Information to define the Humana's major 9 Classifiers for the customer and generates a proposal demographic quote PDQ for the customer. Based on the answers to the 9 classifier questions, additional benefit questions will be pulled up by SPC which will help to create a customized product for the customer.
- A Sales Representative will get the information from the customer about the possible benefit options that might best meet their needs. Humana pre-sales team collects what products can be offered and generates a PSQ Pre-sales-Qualification with all the coverage's, benefits and their copay amounts needed for a prospect. This information is collected and entered into the SPC system
Contract Generation :
- After enrollment of members, Certificate are generated for the members in SPC. The batch jobs confirm the member enrollments by verifying whether the quote is approved for printing. If yes, SPC will generate member certificate, which is a legal document explaining all the benefits that the member is entitled to receive. This document typically runs 80-100 pages. For most of the states, the certificate is released to web so that members in that group can view their certificate of coverage online. Additionally, the certificates are also printed and delivered to the members
- The Certificate are generated using the DOCUMAKER/DOCUMERGE process.
- Summary of Benefit Documents are also created and delivered to the members as per Group plan to which the member belongs.

Pharmacy Eligibility is an enterprise pharmacy eligibility mainframe system. The XE process extracts/receives member/group data from multiple eligibility platforms, applies rules and logic to reformat it to Argus required layout. Once the data is extracted all the eligible members are send to the Argus through the File transmission process. Agrus is a third party vendor for Humana .
The member information are extracted from different Humana platforms.

- Humana ODS Operational Data Support is Humana's Core Data Repository for Operational Data, which is designed to be a single storage point as part of Humana's Corporate Information Management initiative. ODS houses the Member, Customer, Plan, Provider, Claims and Pharmacy data of the whole Enterprise.
- The Operational Data Store ODS concept is an integral part of the data warehouse model. It is intended to be the first stop of data on its way to a data warehouse .The ODS collects and integrates the data, where it can enforce accuracy and completeness.
