In an effort to gain efficiencies from the merger of the GHI and HIP organizations, this EDI project was initiated to consolidate operational processes to promote transparency into a single Emblem Health entity.
As part of this project all HIPAA transactions were received and sent through BizTalk as integration middleware. HIPAA 4010 versions along with the canonical schemas were used to convert incoming transactions into NSF, NEIC or OCR Formats. Also outgoing transactions like payments, claim status were batched and sent across.

PowerPlant is a complete Asset Management and Accounting Software System that is designed specifically for the utility and other asset intensive industries. At Con Edison PowerPlant software was selected to replace all existing old & disparate Property Records/Property Tax applications and manual processes. Con Edison had implemented Asset management, project management (Work Order Creation), Property Tax, Tax Provision, Charge Repository business modules in PowerPlant application. For this data in Con Edison\'s legacy systems, such as mainframe DB2 (FDA) databases, IMS (Work Order) databases and sequential files had to be integrated with PowerPlant application using BizTalk Server 2006 R2.

RBS Sempra is a commodity trader in Natural Gas, Power, Petroleum, other precious metals and plastics. The trading messaging middleware which was originally implemented in BizTalk 2002 was replaced by BizTalk Server 2006 R2 with FIX Engine called RA ShortCut from Rapid Additions.
RA Shortcut provides FIXML messages from the FIX messages that are received from various cusotmers of Sempra Trading.These are converted and stored in the oracle database

The EDI transactions are part of Hamilton Sundstrand’s B2B project. This project is aimed at sending Advance Shipment Notice (ASN), Planning Schedules, and ACH Payments to Boeing. Using BizTalk Server 2006 & Covast EDI Accelerator 2006, outgoing 856/830/820 X12 documents are created and batched based on EDI Recipient URI and sent to Boeing.

HS B2B project is aimed at automating the process of receiving Purchase Order(X12-850), Purchase Order Change (X12-860), Planning & Schedule (X12-830), Functional Acknowledgement(X12-997).This project is aimed at integrating Hamilton Sundstrand’s processes with those of it’s partners like Boeing, PWC, Navy, Govt etc.
The project is developed with MS BizTalk Server 2006 & Covast EDI Accelerator 2006 to process the incoming EDI documents and save the transactions to DB2 database.
