  • As Project Manager of the New Hanover Health System Lawson Finance, Procurement and HR Suites implementation project in 2004 and 2005 I managed a team of up to 12 consultants on a $2.3M budget project.
  • The team I lead was able to bring the New Hanover project to completion on time and on budget. This was accomplished despite the complete turnover of the “C” suite (New CEO, CIO and CFO), the VP of Human Resource (twice), the Purchasing Director and Purchasing Manager during the project.
  • I was also directly responsible for additional change orders in excess of $600k on the New Hannover project.
  • Jewish Health presented unique challenges with their GL structure and Chart of Accounts. The Structure and COA had to work across three different hospitals with three different reporting structures. I was able gain consensus from all three hospitals Financial Management teams and complete the financial implementation on time and on budget.
  • Team Health is an Employee Staffing Firm for Hospitals. This was my first project for ISH and I lead the GL AP and AM modules implementation. The challenge here was to configure the GL Structure and COA to handle the many different types of cost centers based on type of facility being served.
  • The Chester County Hospital was unique in that they were using a Managed Services Firm to administer their new Lawson Implementation. During this implementation I improved my Vendor Management skills while leading the Financial Suite implementation of AP, GL and AM.
