Job Description:
Manage platform and support existing CA API Gateway (Formerly Layer 7) Policy driven architecture and API security implementation. Write code and unit tests, work on API specs, automation. Conduct code reviews and testing.

Manage platform and support existing CA API Gateway (Formerly Layer 7) Policy driven architecture and API security implementation. Lead for design and development of security capabilities. Write code and unit tests, work on API specs, automation. Conduct code reviews and testing. Indulge in development activities to build interfaces with external systems and agencies, Architect innovative security solutions to solve existing and future challenges, demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 Years hands on experience developing and delivering high end security solutions using CA API Gateway (Formerly Layer 7).
• Two years’ hands- on development experience on API Management platform(s) such as Apigee, Layer 7, IBM XI50, Oracle and/or Axway API Gateways Good understanding/exposure to overall API-Management concepts & fundamentals.
• Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration and deployment of API management platforms. Candidates will need to be able to perform hands-on technical development to implement policies.
• Hands-on experience with the XACML policy
• Working experience using web services and API's built on SOAP or REST and using XML or JSON.
• Strong knowledge on securing data channels using various mechanisms (basic authentication, OAuth 2.0, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle SOA servers is a big plus.
• CA API Gateway - Gateway HA Cluster, SAML based SSO setup connectivity from on-premises Data center to cloud hosted applications, Content Based Routing, publishing internal services to internet, HTTP header parsing and header customization, Cookie based session maintenance, Manipulation of http headers, Integration with memory cache.
• Mod Security - Optimal SQL execution on industry standard databases, Regex and condition based http traffic processing, Publish Java based applications to internet, CA API gateway upgrade / migrations, SSL certificate usage and setup, Patching and monitoring of API gateway.
• Design and Architecture - Capacity planning, Infrastructure design and setup, Exposure to architecting web applications in hosting models: Conventional data center, Co-location, and Hybrid cloud.

3. Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
