Senior BI consultant with strong background and 6+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing domain
Experienced in working with business users and should be customer centric, good analytical skills, identifying gaps, validating and prototyping requirements to ensure requirements meet business partner needs
Strong analytical skills to understand impact of changes, complexities and dependencies.
Good leadership & communication skills, detailed and results oriented, take ownership and drives topics to completion, self-motivated, collaborates and works well with team and business partners.
Ability to communicate and explain technical issues in a simple manner to a non-technical audience.
Proven experience to work independently or part of a team. Flexible in working with various internal and 3rd party resources to lead / assist as required.
Experienced in creating technical design specifications, testing, release management documents, conducting formal test cycles - unit/integration/user testing, knowledge transfer and support hand-off
Good hands-on problem solving skills in BI, data related quality and performance issues
Detail-oriented, hard-working, self-motivated, collaborates and works well with team and business partners.
Background and knowledge of sales force operations, marketing activities will be very helpful.

Primary Technical Skills:

4+ years of hands-on core experience in design, development and support using OBIEE suite of tools (versions 10g/11g). Good to have experience in other BI Reporting and Visualization tools such as Tableau, Cognos, Microsoft BI, QlikView.
4+ years of experience working on RDBMS such as Teradata (highly preferred), Oracle, Sql Server; advanced PL/SQL, query writing skills for data analysis, data quality and performance issues.
4+ years of experience working with multi-dimensional star schema models.
3+ years of experience managing the OBI environment (user /content / agent management, version upgrades, system and application issues, understanding of OBIEE internal architecture/structures, working and configuration of web and application servers, capacity planning, performance and stability).

Secondary Technical Skills:

Minimum years of experience: 5+
