Title: QA Governance Specialist
Location: Coppell, TX
Duration: 6+ months

Area Function:
Enterprise Quality Assurance (EQA) is the responsible entity for System Integration testing (ensuring that a modified system interacts properly with its interfacing systems, satisfying upstream and downstream data and processing dependencies) in accordance with Corporate System Development Methodologies to ensure that applications are brought to market that meet customer requirements, are stable, reliable, and production-ready, and minimize risk to the organization.

Position Summary:
The QA Governance Specialist within the EQA Strategy and Architecture organization will help drive and implement governance strategies to facilitate business communications, improve transparency and planning, and mitigate risks across all testing services provided by EQA. Directly assists the QA Director in the management of finances, metrics and preparation of presentations for C-level executives. Must be knowledgeable in testing concepts. Requires a functional understanding of distributed and/or mainframe test environments. Requires in-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle and the ability to work well with both business clients and developers. Also, business experience with financial service applications will be desirable.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across EQA groups to ensuring clarity of requirements, identifying and issues or risks and communicating back to the EQA Strategy and Architecture team.
  • Take input from multiple sources to create C-level presentations.
  • Play a leadership role in driving all financial issues.
  • Assist more senior team members in driving issues to resolution.
  • Collect and validate project data, prepare project metrics & reports.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by continuous communication and collaboration.
  • Drive any audit related issues to closure in a timely manner.
  • Track any risks and issues for the team and ensure timely resolution.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT.
Skills Required:
  • Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of Process Architecture processes including a detailed understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Maintains current knowledge of marketplace changes, technology changes, and client businesses relevant to the Domain.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance industry best practices.
  • Solid grasp of effective communication strategies tailored to various audiences (internal/external, management, staff, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to support multiple projects/ responsibilities simultaneously.
