Minimum of 3-5 years related hands-on work experience.
Experience in as many of the following areas: Cisco Routers/Switches, VOIP experience, preferably Cisco Call Manager/Unity VOIP
Experience with dynamic routing protocols like EIGRP, BGP and OSPF, NAT, access-lists, and route redistribution
Must have good understanding of Cisco technologies (switching, routing, firewalls, wireless)
Hands on experience with VMware design, implementation, and support
Willingness to work evenings and weekends on occasion.
MCSA, MCSE, MCITP and/or CCNA Preferred
Senior Network Engineer
This position is a multi-faceted and dynamic opportunity for a hands-on Senior Network Engineer that is looking to be involved in all aspects of technology. This position requires an individual who is a good project manager, can work independently and manage their time well, while presenting a professional image. This individual must be committed to the delivery of superior customer service and must have the ability to apply judgment, implement solutions, and resolve technical challenges, all in a multi-tasked and fast paced environment.
The successful candidate must be able to function in a high-availability environment while planning, deploying, administering and troubleshooting the following: Windows Server 2003 & 2008, Active Directory, Domino Lotus Notes 8.5.2 or Exchange 2010 and experience setting up Terminal Servers, Citrix XenApp Servers, SAN, and VMware.
A working knowledge of Dell and HP server hardware, Cisco switches and firewall, including wireless, load balancing, failover and SSL VPN configurations is required. Smartphones (Blackberry, Android, iPhone) and iPad setup is also desired.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Designing and implementing modern networks including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, and firewalls
Implementing Corporate Solutions for Mobile Devices
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, VMware Vsphere 4.x/5 and Mailing Systems like Domino/Exchange
