Around 12 to 15 years of experience in Information Technology with around 8 years of experience in Design, Modeling, Architecture, Implementation of EPM suite of products for consolidation and reconciliation Preferred
Job Description:
- Strong Experience on Supporting projects on HFM, Planning, EssbaseHPCM, HFR, HSS, FDQM and FDMEE.
- Knowledge in understanding Architecture of Hyperion products.
- Strong Experience in managing metadata and in developing dimensions like Account, Entity and Scenario.
- Complete Administration, Installation and configuration of BI tools.
- Experience in Creating and troubleshooting Hyperion Application.
- Monitor system performance with ‘Performance Monitor’ or some similar tool
- Monitor Hyperion System Logs for errors and outage conditions
- Manage Hyperion Services for uptime
- Manage complete system backups including the necessary MAXL scripting for Essbase backups (archive mode, etc.)
- Manage or assist with management of all system RDBMS backups
- Troubleshoot issues with both client and server systems
- SmartView Client connections, FR Studio connections, HFM Client support
- Essbase cube stop/start, HFM application start/stop, JVM monitoring and troubleshooting, IIS/Apache/OHS support and maintenance
- Migration of objects between environments (Dev, Test, Production) using LCM, or manually for earlier versions
- Manage the technical documentation of all fixes, versioning, and issues for the suite
- Manage all technical tickets both with the internal ticketing system, and externally to Oracle or other vendor
- Handling escalated issues.
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux/ exalytics systems.
- Experience in system integration and the support of different kinds of Enterprise applications.
- Experience in applying patches to the environment including:
- System level OS patches
- Patches for third-party products (J2EE servers, PDF Print software, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Patches to the product suite which may include full product reinstallations
- Management of users/groups within Shared Services and their proper role assignment Understand changes in application base/scope to ensure the architecture does not need to grow
- Monitor all system usage metrics so that additional hardware is expanded in advance of need: RAM, Disk, Processor, etc.
- End to End Installation and configuration experience of Hyperion 11.1.2.x and admin activities on Hyperion 11.1.x versions.
- Excellent understanding of project issues, Ability to work as a part of End users.
- Working experience on various features such as Journals, Reports, Load and Extract data.
- Process Expertise – Strong functional understanding of Financial Consolidation and Account reconciliation process with experience in Business Process redesign or transformation
- Ability to appreciate user requirements in EPM and Finance domain and convert them in to design specs and architecting solutions
- Experience in the area of end to end Hyperion EPM Implementation Application Design
- Design Reporting Chart of Accounts and data integrations; Good understanding of GL systems
- Ability to play a role of Techno-Functional consultant on Hyperion application and managing various phases of program
- Should possess excellent analytical, communication, presentation and client facing skills
- Planning and Co-ordination skills
- Experience with project management
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
- Basic PLSQL and Database concepts is helpful
- Working Knowledge on Oracle EPM Cloud environment is helpful and preferred.
- Good understanding of Oracle Weblogic and Apache.
