WORKSPACES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Title: AWS Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: Extendable contract
The engineer is needed to assist in the design, implementation, and support of projects utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS). The immediate need is to implement and support one high visibility project incorporating AWS servers, related client domains, and Amazon Workspaces. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Install, upgrade, monitor, and administer AWS servers, including patching
- Install, upgrade, monitor and administer Amazon Workspaces
- Monitor and administer backups
- Work with IT management to develop and document standard processes/procedures for moving applications to AWS
- Carry out other related AWS duties as assigned
- Three (3) years' experience in a production IT environment installing and administering Windows and Linux based infrastructure services
- Three (3) years' experience with AWS services and operations
- Experience with migrating on-premises applications to AWS
- Experience with Amazon Workspaces and Workspaces Application Management (WAM)
