JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
An expert, enriched with experience in the Continuous Integration Pipeline with tools like Electric Commander and Jenkins. Knowledge to install, configure and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems. Also, having experience in Middleware technologies like App hosting, Integrating application servers and MQ. The candidate will provide support and maintenance for complex business applications. He/She will be primary point of contact for all issues in a Pre-Production environment and perform advance level troubleshooting.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS Continuous Integration PIPE Line activities includes:
- Daily triages, Build and deployments, Branch cut and related activities
- Generation of eviction list and Release Management Publish activities
- Availability and Configuration Management for tools like SVN, Electric Commander and fisheye
- Provide maintenance and support for tools like Confluence, JIRA and bookit
- Monitoring, triggering of flows, debugging and resolving failures using Espresso
- Understanding of IDRAC/HMC/Openstack/VMware/IBM Blades
Experience on System Admin activities like:
- VM Creation and rebuilding through Chef(Vmware /Openstack)
- Managing Disk space, filesystem issues
- Troubleshoot Certificate and authentication issues
- Vendor coordination activities
- Maintenance, Upgrades and restarts
- Maintenance activities on Storages like EMC VNX, datadomain, Purearray and Netapp
- Knowledge on Datastage Admin activities like User access, Start / stop servers, Mount monitors, Reset / unlock jobs and troubleshoot failed jobs
- Creating and configuring plugins for monitoring dashboards using Nagios
- Experience in Middleware technologies like MLINK, Tuxedo and App Hosting technologies like tomcat and JBOSS
- Knowledge on Clerity DELL would be an added advantage
- Basis Oracle & Postgres database support
- Understanding of tools like Splunk & Graphite
- Better understanding of DevOps concepts
- Basic knowledge of network infrastructure for e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, router, load balancer etc.
Technical documentation experience:
- One or more Product certification in the area of expertise.
