Key Responsibilities:
The role demands that the individual works well under pressure and can deliver towards tight deadlines. This role will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of core Microsoft services and technologies. The role will have to manage ticket queue and be responsible for manning a hotline throughout shift. The role requires flexible hours from Tuesday through Saturday.
The Systems Operations Windows Consultant is responsible for assisting the systems operation team in the operations of an estate comprising over 2,500 servers and a number of technologies including but not limited to:
- Server and Desktop Virtualization (VMware vSphere 5.x, vCenter 5.x)
- XenApp (6.0/6.6)
- XenDesktop
- Active Directory
- Exchange 2013, Exchange 2016
- Windows Server Operating system (2008R2/2012/2016)
- SCOM 2012, SCCM 2012
- Print Services (Ysoft or comparable authentication a plus)
Skillset required:
- Must possess 1-4 years of enterprise-level experience in most of the following areas
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
- Microsoft Exchange 2010
- Windows File Clusters/DFS
- Citrix/XenApp
- VMWare, ESXi/ESX, vSphere 4/5
- SCCM
Candidate should possess scripting/programing skills in at least one of the following languages:
- PowerShell
- Vbscript
- VB/.NET
- ASP.Net/C#
- Perl/WMI
- SCOM.
