ADEQ has a need for a webmaster who will help design, maintain, and manage the agency's web site This is a hands-on web programming position.

Qualified candidates will require working experience with Microsoft Expression Web, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL queries, and Microsoft Access. 

Working with a supervisor and the senior webmaster, this person will analyze user needs for ADEQ’s web site; design, code, implement, and maintain the web site; assist with maintaining the Agency’s IIS web server; and respond to internal and external requests for assistance with the web site.

This is a hands-on, web programming position which will require knowledge of Microsoft Expression Web, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL queries, and Microsoft Access.  In addition, knowledge of ASP classic, Visual Basic.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft IIS 7 are useful though not required.

The ADEQ web site (www.adeq.state.ar.us) is a well-visited site designed to provide access to environmental information.  During the fiscal year just completed June 30, 2012, we logged over 7.9 million page views, and provided access to approximately 50 databases and over 300,000 PDF documents.
