In the role of Developer, you will be developing the software components in agile mode to developed the given user stories, you will be working independently and will have to be hands on to deliver the agile work. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for agile sprints, also support all types of testing and support activities related to development, transition and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
- 6+ experience in Production Support engineer of Microfocus and Mainframe
- Supporting high quality code deliverables.
- Interface with internal team.
- Lead validation activities for the assigned sub-modules for all types of testing and ability to perform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on solutions related to issue fixing.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of Mainframe tools, COBOL and Microfocus.
- Good analytical troubleshooting Skills
- Flexible to provide On-Call Support
- Good understanding and working knowledge on ITIL Best Practices.
- Working knowledge Unix shell scripting language.
