Role: HPC systems engineer

Responsibilities:-
•       Administration of HPC clusters based on Slurm and Cyclecloud in Azure
•       Develop and deploy improvements to the HPC solution based on user feedback
•       Provide technical support to any user issues related to HPC per agreed SLA’s
•       Partner with internal business and Microsoft and implement a continuous improvement plan

Experience & Skills Required:-
•       Excellent Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills
•       Experience in configuring, deploying and supporting HPC systems and schedulers (Slurm, CycleCloud)
•       Experience administering and tuning scale out storage (BeeGFS, Lustre, Avere)
•       Advanced scripting or programming skills (C/C++, Python, Perl, UNIX shell, bash/Devops/MPI)
•       Ability to communicate effectively with users and business leaders
•       Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
5+ of relevant experience working with enterprise customers on HPC solution development, deployment and support

Must Have Skills 
1. Perl Scripting

Nice to have skills 
1. CycleCloud
2. Slurm
