Role Info and Activities-
This Data Engineer position within the Analytics team will be migrating various analytic components from a Netezza platform to an AWS environment. The goal is to provide executives with a more robust analytics platform with which they can make strategic business decisions. This will include rewriting the process on AWS for the land, ingest, transform, integrate, and export analytic components.
Required Experiences, Skills and Characteristics

Experiences:-

• Strong experience in a "big data” environment
• Strong experience with building analytics workflows
• Experience with AWS environment
• Data/platform migration

Skills/Tools:-

• Python (must be strong)
• Spark (must be strong)
• SQL (must be strong)
• AWS platform including EMR, EC2, S3, and Redshift (must be strong)
• ETL (big plus)
• Netezza (plus)

Characteristics:-
