The Monitoring Administrator must be technically competent in the support of three-tiered architectures, as well as be able to gather and analyze data through interview, observation, design workshops and independent research.  The candidate must possess strong knowledge of computer, system and network protocols and architectures, especially in large heterogeneous, client server environments.  Strong knowledge of and/or experience with Internet and Intranet Web-based architecture and services.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency with installation and configuration of IBM Tivoli Monitoring products line including a combination of:

Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) software

Tivoli Network Manager (ITNM)

Tivoli Composite Application Manager (ITCAM)

Tivoli Integrated Portal (TIP)

Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP)

Tivoli Service Request Manager (TSRM)

Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus & Netcool/Impact

Demonstrated experience implementing IBM Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus & Netcool/Impact.

3+ Experience with Tivoli Monitoring software

Experience in understanding Network device monitoring practices

Ability to analyze, identify and resolve Tivoli toolset issues in team environment

Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within the organization

Experience in leading a team of Junior Monitoring administrator and training them

Knowledge & Understanding of Tivoli Common  Reporting (TCRM)
