Job Description-

 

Client's Commerce Platform Engineering team is building, highly scalable next generation eCommerce solutions. And we are looking for a talented individual to join our Engineering team as a Devops Systems Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company and be part of a highly progressive and transformative team. You will work closely with system architects, engineers and various team leaders to support Client’s enterprise DevOps implementations. Leading the automating, scripting, programming, building, deploying, and monitoring DevOps solutions.

 

Must have Qualifications:-

 

 

  • Computer Science degree with 6-8 years of industry experience.
  • 3+ years of managing Amazon Web Services (CloudFormation, EC2, S3, ELB, ASG, etc.) is required, as well as a solid understanding of the different services AWS provides.
  • Experience with code repositories (Git), continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Maven or Gradle)
  • Experience with container systems (Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. EC2 Container Service, Kubernetes, Mesos).
  • Strong professional experience automating AWS configuration, build and deployments using Ansible, CloudFormation, OpsWorks or other equivalents
  • Experience designing and maintaining reliable, high-availability production systems and services.
  • Strong scripting skills in one or more of: Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, GO
  • Troubleshooting and system administration exposure in UNIX/RHEL production environments. With strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, etc.)
  • Monitoring automation; make sure that the correct monitors are deployed at the application level so that any failures can be quickly detected and repaired.
