Job Description:

Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies. Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

Responsibilities

•             Develop and execute testing plans that include regression testing, feature testing, error handling, and customer usability in a complex IT environment

•             Document, track, and close defects using a defect tracking tool

•             Execute testing and provide developers and project manager with feedback and recommendations

•             Work closely with developers to resolve any defects

•             Team player in the quality assurance testing effort

Required

•             Due to regulatory requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens

•             Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and experience

•             Experience with bug tracking and software testing tools

•             Experience writing and executing test cases

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•             Extremely detail-oriented

•             Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a highly dynamic environment

•             Ability to work independently with little supervision

Preferred

•             Experience leading QA efforts for enterprise system implementations

•             Experience with Web UI testing

•             Experience with Master Data Management testing in a complex IT environment

•             Experience with IBM Rational (RQM)

•             Experience leading business participants in user acceptance testing efforts

•             Experience working in a deadline-driven environment
