This position is a part of Global Technology Services (GTS) - Software Quality Assurance (SQA) department.

The successful candidate will be leading testing activities within one of business verticals. This person will be responsible for managing a group of on-site and off-shore QA Analysts as well as designing and developing test plans derived from business and functional requirements and other applicable project artifacts. Integration of legacy systems with newly developed applications is an important part of most projects, so fast learning is a must feature of the successful candidate.

The major emphasis will be on providing risk-based coverage of major functionality and GUI. Subsequent responsibility will be to analyze test results and produce appropriate metrics reports. Some of these and other responsibilities should be delegated to off-shore partners and coordinated by a successful candidate.

He/she must have a proven track record of successfully managing teams of 5-10 QA analysts who will be creating and maintaining risk-based test plans and scripts, as well as documentation of test specifications, results, and metrics.
