Title: Quality Assurance Tester - ERP
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 4 month contract, extendable
 
The Quality Assurance Tester will provide support through the development and execution of functional test scenarios related to the implementation of a route, personnel scheduling and tracking platform for the transit industry. This position will perform the following activities and examples, as well as other related tasks as the needs arise.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support Work Modernization Program (WMP) functions through functional testing of the work schedule / time tracking system
• Review and reference the program requirements and design documentation
• Develop and document detailed test scenarios and expected results for the system, including application changes, security/user permission changes, integrations and reports based on program requirements and/or design Create test data as needed and execute test scenarios according to the test plan
• Support the end-user acceptance testing through planning, execution and defect resolution
• Support performance testing as necessary through scenario execution
• Log and track defects through retest / closure by working with the functional, integration and technical teams as well as with change management and project management as needed

Education and/or Experience:

• 1+ years of experience with functional testing of an enterprise application
• Experience with an employee work schedule / time tracking system preferred Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with end-users and team members
• Strong oral and written communication skills and detail oriented.
