Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only)*:

1. Perform mechanical testing including shock and vibration, surface durability, material characterization (tensile, compression, etc.) using a load frame, drop testing and tumble testing.
2. Operate thermal chambers for temperature and humidity testing.
3. 24 years of experience in a testing lab or manufacturing with mechanical (some electrical) component system testing.

Nice to have skills (Top 2 only):

1. Experience with laboratory equipment, sample preparation, and general lab processes.

Detailed Job Description:

The Reliability Lab conducts mechanical and environmental testing to demonstrate the reliability of products and materials across the Alphabet line of hardware. Hardware Test Technicians in the lab work closely with product teams and other crossfunctional teams to highlight failures which drive corrective actions within the products and company. As a Hardware Test Technician, you will work closely with the engineering team in support of Reliability, RD, product development, and production.

Minimum years of experience*: 5+

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:

1. Follow established reliability test procedures and perform various environmental and mechanical reliability testing, photographic documentation of test setup and results, and report generation.
2. Set up and run test equipment Instron tensilecompression system, Opticaldigital microscope, Environmental chambers, Corrosion chambers.
3. Record, analyze, and report test results using spreadsheets and charts.
