The selected candidate will:

Work with the client team to develop new and modify existing PL/SQL stored procedures. Will need a bright, quick learning, self starter to understand the systems and be part of the development team and also provide insights into performance tuning of the DB layer of the application.

Qualifications:

PL/SQL Development 

PL/SQL working experience on Oracle 10g and 11gR2 

Expert in writing Packages, procedures and Functions 

Good understanding of Data model and Data flow 

Basic Performance tuning and understanding of Indexes and hints 

Exceptional handling in PL SQL 

Knowledge about and reading the explain plan
