Description:
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises
or modifies procedures to solve complex business problems considering system
limitations and capacity. Prepares detail specifications for developers.
Provides technical expertise in evaluating new software modifications that will
enhance operating and development activities.
Requirement Specific Details:
The Business Analyst will work on projects for
Institutional Asset Management Clients including marketing/disclosure
documents, regulatory reporting, and client mailings. Prior experience with
financial web sites, client reporting, investment statements, business
intelligence, invoicing systems, or CRM tools is desired.

• Conduct detailed business, data, and functional analysis supporting projects.
• Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, issues tracking documents, and other communications.
• Perform required project administration functions.
• Work with business and technical partners through the project lifecycle including the process of defining, analyzing, prioritizing, and implementing ongoing enhancements.
• Matrix manages project tasks/activities across several projects.
• Contribute to quality assurance effort including defining overall test plan, creating test scenarios and checklists, managing testing resources, and working close with development team for issue resolution.

• Understand client server technical architecture concepts, including both front-end user interface design considerations and back-end relational database concepts.
• Familiarization and experience with the systems development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, rollout/support).
• Working knowledge of client account information reporting best practices / techniques.
