Must Have Skills:

1. 6 + years of development experience in a web service architecture
2. 8+ years Handson development experience with CA API Gateway Policy Manager
3. Understanding of Web Services ( SOAP Rest ) internals, Workflows & messaging
4. Understanding and / or development experience in any of the following Web Services: WSDL, XML, SOAP, J2EE, and/or WS - Security.
5. Experience with Linux server operating systems
6. Understanding of network and security principles
7. Broad knowledge of different IT domains such as network, security, architecture and processes.
8. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
9. Understanding of API best practices

Nice to have skills:

1. Strong hands on experience with Java
2. Experience with deployment and administration of J2EE Application Servers and Containers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Spring, etc.). - a plus
3. 4+ years Hands-on development experience in IBM Data power – XI52/IDG - gateway Appliances – MPG, WSP and XML Gateway a plus

1. Development and deployment experience with API policies in CA API Gateway Policy Manager 9.x.

3. Understanding of common API security threats/attack vectors and the assertions to address them
4. Gateway API Troubleshooting skills
