Detailed Job Description:

• Strong expertise in engineering - Electrical and Mechanical
• Strong locomotive configuration awareness and operational understanding
• Strong expertise in creating mechanical, electrical, and software installation instructions
• Strong experience with technical writing
• Strong expertise in mechanical and electrical hardware integration onto locomotives
• Intense Schematic Analysis w/ incorporation of “Kit” installs
• High level AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical drafting expertise
• Wire diagram / Schematic / Electrical Component (hardware) knowledge and implementation
• Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain processes to work with internal and external vendors to get parts manufactured
• Knowledge of Hardware, Peripherals, Chip-sets

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelors in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering

Others:

• Ability and willingness to travel for First Article Installations at customer / GE managed sites
• Autonomous worker that can execute tasks with minimal input and guidance. A self-starter.
• Fluent in English
