Project Questions - The Big Picture - What is driving the need? Global AR platform is heart of Amex card business, which is working on Platform Transformation Program to a high end, high availability, highly scalable cloud based solution in a modern tech stack. - Project Objective – How will this role fit into the whole initiative? One of the objective is to rebuild UI components using ReactJS and the backend Rest APIs in Vert.x (Reactive programming), Spring/SpringBoot which is the AMEX’s choice of technology. - Please share details around the current industry that the end-client is operating in. Global AR platform is the financial system of AMEX which process the financial charges, transactions, cycling etc., for all the AMEX card members. This platform is looking to integrate their systems so that they can operate seamlessly across markets. - Minimum years of experience needed: 6 years of experience and hands on in ReactJS, SpringBoot, RestAPI, Java8 and Reactive Programming
Performance Expectations - What will this resource be doing? The talent would be part of a scrum team and would work with the business/product owner in refining the user needs and then designing the solution to support those. The talent is required to do the build, test, implement and support the solution he/she is building. - What outcome or deliverables are expected at the end of this assignment? Refinement of user stories, solution diagram, code, implementation support.
