Years of Experience: 10 plus years
Education:4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Role Description:
Support implementation of Datacom Change Data Capture(CDC) application into Z/OS ; Understanding of relational DBMS, especially Datacom; Ability to create logical and physical database designs; Analysis of functional user requirements to develop proper data normalization and conceptual data base designs for new projects; Monitor Datacom storage pools; Calculation and allocation of DASD space; Knowledge of Datacom database utilities(Extract/Load, Retix, Reorg, Forward/Backward Recovery ,etc); Z/OS JCL batch execution; SQL coding knowledge ; Daily core-hour on-site presence and on-call availability during off hours.
