Minimum Requirements:

We are seeking a senior level User Interface Engineer in Jersey City, New Jersey to join our Cloud-based eCommerce system team.

Responsibilities:

·         Working with senior business executives and the development team to design our next generation of eCommerce financial system

·         Drive the design and user interface using Web 2.0 technologies and techniques

·         Lead the effect to create the overall UI including structure, navigation and theme

·         Conduct UI design sessions with input from business units and the technical team

·         Develop wireframes, technical prototypes and screens

·         Create reusable HTML templates and style sheets based on Web 2.0 UI standards and guidelines

Description:

Responsibilities:

·         5+ years experience designing complex web-based systems

·         Thorough understanding of overall UI design concepts and processes

·         Strong understanding of the user-centered design process

·         Ability to generate design concepts and expand them into a detailed design

·         Experience with generating UI prototypes, UI specifications, flow diagrams, and wireframes

·         Retail software product user interface design experience is a plus

·         Equity and equity derivative knowledge a plus

·         Ability to prototype with HTML, CSS and jQuery is a huge plus

·         High level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is desired
