Scope of Work:

Working independently within guidelines, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.  Typically manages multiple projects of small to moderate size and risk concurrently.  Oversees the system development process.  Develops detailed plans and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation.  Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.  Assists in establishing and improving project management methodologies, procedures and policies.  Adheres to Project Management Office policies, procedures, and methodologies.  Coaches and mentors individuals on the project teams and provides feedback on performance to their leaders.  Utilizes solid knowledge of the Project Management Institute¿s standards and terminology.  Oversees client/customer relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.  Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise.  Minimum 5 years related experience preferred.  Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

 

Demonstrated strong skills as an IT leader implementing system enhancements or new systems implementations. Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing system implementation projects using Our Client's project management methodology - Hybrid. Direct multiple infrastructure resources to ensure that project deliverables are met and issues/risks are mitigated and resolved. Responsible for leading infrastructure team status meetings, documenting minutes, and managing project milestones. Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule. Serves as a liaison between application development team and the infrastructure side of the IT division.  Adheres to corporate project management policies, procedures and methodologies. Ensures project status is properly documented and communicated to upper leadership. Knowledge of various infrastructures in a large multi-operating system, multi-platform environment including mainframe, networking, middleware, and web infrastructure technologies. Ability to analyze Business Requirement Documents and translate into IT infrastructure tasks. Experience in Data/Corp Security Projects is beneficial.
