Detailed Job Description:

• At least 8 years of experience as Windows System administratorIn this role, the personnel shall be responsible for installing, upgrading Windows-based systems and servers, managing user access to the servers, and maintaining the security and stability of the Windows environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance (Windows Operating System versions - 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019)
• Install or upgrade Windows systems and servers.
• Capabilities to Assess the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
• Plan and execute OS patching and upgradeso Plan and execute firmware patching and upgrades
• Troubleshoot system and server errors; Review system error logs and user-reported errors.
• Manage user access.
• Monitoring system performance.
• Maintain server architecture security.
• Create system backups.
• Experience in administering and leveraging tools like SCCM, MDT, Splunk, Densify etc
• Experience administering VMware / Hypervisor layer is an added advantage (VCenter, VROps).
• Ability to create scripts in Ansible, Perl, Python, and similar languages is an added advantage
• Good knowledge on enterprise network principles & devices (servers, routers, firewalls) and data center architecture.
• Experience in using troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, AppDynamics etc
• Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
• Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Analytical and communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
• Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
• Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
• Need more than 8 year of experience as Windows administrator with below skill sets
• Perform proactive analysis of infrastructure capacity and performance
• Performs regular system maintenance, backups, hardware and software upgrades, physical to virtual migrations and performance tuning
• Performs research and analysis for platform determination for project related implementation life cycle replacements
• Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management
• Perform server related regular operational tasks Manage
