- Expertise in writing, re - writing and dissecting complex SQL queries using multiple join conditions, case statements, arithmetic, aggregate functions and query tuning/optimization techniques-Required.
- In depth, practical knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts-Required. Teradata background in particular preferred but not required.
- Strong Experience in performance tuning-required. With Teradata specifically-preferred.
- Strong expertise in reengineering system applications and processes-preferred.
- Experience with Teradata utilities like BTEQ, FASTLOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP, FASTEXPORT and Query Manager-Strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in understanding data modeling involving logical and physical data model-preferred
