Detailed Job Description:

• 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
• SQL Server Administration experience required
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization in SQL Server: Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
• Experience Configuring and maintaining High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Experience troubleshooting issues in SQL Server with High Volume on Large Size DBs (5TB+), providing suggestions for improvement
• Experience analyzing SQL and Perfmon logs to identify bottlenecks in Production Servers
• Experience in using Tools for Database Health Checks, Index Analysis & Optimization, Temp DB review and Log File review
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
• Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
• Hands on with Basic .Net, C#, PowerShell
• Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure Virtual Machines, Networking, ARM templates
• Strong problem-solving skills : Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time or production environments
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
