Detailed Job Description:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Woodbury, NY or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 7 years of Server development experience
• Experience with Media domain and video delivery platforms.
• Tibco expertise is highly recommended.
• Experience in working with MRDVR and RSDVR systems.
• Experience in JAVA/J2EE server applications. 
• Experience in developing multi-threaded Server applications.
• Experience in developing REST web services.
• Experience in developing python web-applications.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Issue triaging Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Working experience with HP ALM, Jira and other tracking and defect monitoring tools.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Troubleshooting STB and/or Linux application related issues.
• Application deployment and validation in application servers like Tomcat, JBOSS.
• Experience in any cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is desirable.
