Complete Description:

This position will be working with the Custom Solution and COTS Support section in the Business Application Division of the Bureau of Information Technology.

The main responsibilities will be assisting with the administration of the agency’s imaging system (Unisys InfoImage), scanning software (Kofax Ascent), and the master document inventory for PSERS primary business application V3.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH INFOIMAGE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

The position assists with all of the following:

-technical support including upgrades of the InfoImage and Ascent software

-imaging and scanning problem detection and correction

-imaging system user access security assignment and maintenance

-agency document type assignment and inventory

-imaging workflow program creation and maintenance

-imaging system configuration and monitoring

-research and development of needed imaging/archiving related technologies for things like OCR/ICR and data recovery guideline development.

Because some of the above tasks may require coding changes, any additional background/experience with requirements gathering, application design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and documenting would be a plus.  Any specific experience with development using Visual Studio, or maintenance/support of the Microsoft Access application would be a plus as well.
