We are looking for a highly experienced QTP automation expert. Below is the job description (Automation Profile) and a sample resume is attached.
Job Description – Quick Test Professional (QTP) Expert
· BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or Business
· 8+ years of experience on Software Testing in Finance and Banking domain
· 5+ years of experiencing automating financial application using QTP
· Expertise in building enterprise wide QTP automation solution architecture
· Well versed in creating robust frameworks for financial applications, primarily winforms with third party controls
· Should have experience in running automation on virtual machines/environments
· Automate existing functional manual regression/smoke test cases using QTP
· Build & Execute the smoke/regression test scripts on different environments analyze results and prepare presentable report
· Knowledge of SQL highly desirable
· Assess and revise (maintain) existing test scripts based upon test results and/or changes in application
· Work closely with Manual QA/Development team to understand automation requirements, and provide a strong automation service to various projects
· Should have exposure to working in Agile methodology of software development
· Knowledge of Financial (Trade and Risk Management) and Investment Banking applications will be an added advantage
· Experience in integrating TFS with QTP
· Ensure that processes and testing documentation meet total quality management and/or other reliability standards
· Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills
· Experience with Performance and Load testing tool is a plus
· Experience with other automation testing tools like Coded UI, Test Complete is highly appreciated
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a coordinated team
· Self-motivated, dynamic, organized, and responsible, team player
