The State of DE, DTI is seeking a qualified professional to support and direct the VMWare migration.
Qualified candidates should have prior experience leading a P2V migration. Candidates will be proficient in virtualization management.
Qualified candidates will have:
· Specific experience in the conversion of servers from a physical to virtual environment utilizing VMware
· Experience in configuration, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of VMware vCenter
· Experience in administration in a Windows Server 2008 and 2003 multi-domain environment
· Experience with life cycling deprecated software versions
· Excellent documentation and record keeping habits with strong attention to detail
