VDH is in need of an experienced Data Warehouse developer with a strong report development background. This individual must have strong experience building BI reports and OLAP tools using a report development solution such as Cognos, LogiXML or Reporting/Analysis Services. Experience with LogiXML is preferred. Candidate must also have a strong proficiency with PL/SQL and Oracle. Candidate should have some experience with ETL development. Candidate should be familiar with Data Warehouse principles. Candidate should have experience with promotion and change control methodologies.
The current technology infrastructure is based on Oralce 11g, LogiXML, Wherescape Red, and COGNOS (Legacy).
Specific Tasks:
• DEVELOP REPORTS AND APPLICATIONS USING LOGIXML
• DEVELOP PROCEDURES AND FUNCTIONS USING PL/SQL
• DATA MODELING
• ETL DEVELOPMENT, LOADING DATA FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES USING WHERESCAPE RED
• WORK WITH A SOURCE CONTROL AND DEFECT TRACKER FOR APPLICATION PROMOTION PROCESSES
• DEVELOP SPECIFIC DASHBOARD PROJECTS WITH BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE, INCLUDING A HEALTH DISTRICT PROFILE
