Looking for a Software Quality Assurance engineer to assist with effective testing of a non-destructive testing instrument and its associated software. The instrument contains an embedded PC to run the operating software. There is also a standalone PC application related that will be part of the testing job.
Required Skills
· Two or more years of experience in Test Driven Development
· Embedded Coding Test Experience is MANDATORY
· Familiarity with disciplined test definition, test execution and defect tracking processes
· Experience with test definition and defect tracking software (HP Quality Center experience a plus)
· Organized and methodical thinker
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Skilled in use of common MS Office software, particularly Excel
· Ability to design and execute test cases to verify instrument operation based on requirements documents or Agile user stories
· Ability to work interactively with a software development team to refine test definitions
· Ability to learn the basics of the use of the instrument for non-destructive testing
· Experience developing automated software tests
· Experience working with networked (Ethernet and WiFi) connected devices
· Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Qt
· Experience operating basic electronic test equipment such as signal generators and oscilloscopes
· Experience as part of an Agile development team
· Experience working as part of a globally distributed team
Background & Experience
