Minimum Requirements:

"              5+ years experience developing in C on VxWorks including 6.X.

"              Experience developing VxWorks Real Time Processes and Downloadable Kernel Modules.

"              Experience developing real-time, multi-threaded, event driven applications.

"              Experience developing interrupt driven state based applications.

"              Strong design skills backed by the ability to formally document designs.

"              Experience using Software Development Processes and Software Configuration Management tools.

Combination of the following skills:

o             TCP/IP Networking

o             Network programming

o             Network security for Ethernet and Wireless

o             Serial communication

o             Communication protocol implementation (XML and SOAP)

o             Object Oriented Analysis and Design

o             C++ programming

o             Touch screen and LCD GUI implementation

o             Vision systems

o             Integration of third party software packages.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in developing safety critical systems in a regulated industry such as medical devices

Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision

Good verbal and written communication skills
