Skill and Role Summary:

Business Analyst to assist with requirements gathering on a MOBILE application

Main duties and responsibilities:

·         Plan the approach for eliciting, defining, analyzing and documenting business and user needs in the form of business, functional, non-functional requirements

·         Determine the level of details required based on project type, size, complexity, priorities, and risk

·         Work with the clients and technical team to facilitate conversations to explore options for the solution to meet the requirements – serve as a subject matter expert for requirements

·         Work with the technical design leads to proactively identify the areas where technical challenges or constraints may create challenges to the solution based on knowledge of the requirement

·         Help lead workshop sessions to drive / define new requirements or change and participate in Client workshops as co-facilitator

·         Leverage extensive experience in creating both business and system use cases as well business functions with use cases

·         Build business process flows and data flow diagrams that accurately reflect the scope and complexities of the requirements 

·         Work in cross geographical environment and coordinate with offshore developers/testers for requirements hand off and clarifications

Requirements:

·         3-4 years similar experience

·         Verify requirements are testable

·         Review test cases

·         Trace the requirements (Traceability Matrix)

·         Review Quality Assurance (QA) deliverables

·         Provide inputs for User Acceptance Testing / Business Testing 

·         Assume responsibility for the overall quality of requirements deliverables

·         Actively manage issues and risks related to requirements at the project level
