Project Description:

Testing and data/report generation of Cloud I/O workloads on a cluster of servers for input into our R&D efforts to improve our future products.

Daily Responsibilities: 
Proficiency in Linux system administration tasks with previous work experience in this area 
Experience with installing various Operating systems like Linux, Windows, ESX. 
Proficiency in modifying Linux kernel configuration file and build various flavors of Linux kernel from source.
Proficiency in configuring Ethernet Local Area Networks - Configuring Switches and routers
Familiarity with optimizing Linux Network parameters for optimal performance
Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, ARP
Experience in running Network and Storage benchmarks tests
Able to demonstrate prior experience in environments where the candidate has read and learnt on how to install, configure and run new software systems. 
Proficiency in Python/Perl scripting language. 
Familiarity with web servers, NAS like SMB and NFS.
Familiarity with Java programing language.
