JOB DESCRIPTION:
QA Analyst with Functional and Analytical Testing Experience with QTP
Looking for a Functional / Manual Tester with at least 3 to 5 years of testing
experience. Candidate must have specific experience validating the online
web based application developed in JAVA and also needs to have SOAP Mind reef
web services experience. Test responsibilities include reviewing System
Requirements / Design, Developing a Testing Strategy, Developing Test Cases,
Executing Test Cases, defect management and Working with Developers to Resolve
issues.
RESONSIBILITIES:
. Good Analytical
and functional skills in understanding the functional side and framework of a
web based application.
. Candidates must
be able to perform the CRUD (create, retrieve, update and delete) operations
via SOAP Mind reef web services tool while interacting with other 3rd party
agencies.
. Experience in PL
/ SQL Developer (10g and 11i) Tool and writing basic SQL Queries for doing the
functional validations.
. Candidates must
be willing to put in some additional hours of work as necessary, to support
project goals, especially during the peak testing timeframe.
. Candidates must
be able to work well in a team environment and should possess good
communication skills.
. Work
proficiently, efficiently, and with full accountability for each assignment.
. Communicate
effectively and persuasively with Development Teams regarding approaches and
options testing the online functionality of the web based application.
. Experience
working as a QA Analyst in Public Sector is a Plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
PL / SQL Developer 7.0 & above, SOAP Mind reef web services, and HP Quality
Centre 10.0
