Job Duties :

•⁠  ⁠Develop backend features using Spring Boot (Java) for services, middleware running on front-store and pharmacy register at CVS pharmacy

•⁠  ⁠Develop frontend features using Angular, React, HTML, CSS for pharmacist/cashier and customer facing registers

•⁠  ⁠Designed user experience flows for a next-gen AI-powered front-store register, working directly with cashiers and UI/UX designers to understand workflows and reduce friction points

•⁠  ⁠Collaborate with data scientist to develop backend for the AI front store registers using FastAPI (Python)

•⁠  ⁠Designed and implemented a logging system for the new AI registers so that it can precisely logs detections, detection metrics etc. increasing observability and traceability

•⁠  ⁠Architect and build a feedback mesh network between the AI registers with CVS store-network and central server which helped maintain a strong dataset for effective product identification and possible business inputs

•⁠  ⁠Served as one of the primary escalation points for external teams on pharmacy register issues (production and QA), resolving primarily database and backend service incidents

•⁠  ⁠Collaborate with other developers to build end-to-end features serving as both point of contact and developer to ship features, documenting API contracts

•⁠  ⁠Maintained QA and dev register environments to ensure reliable testing infrastructure across development teams

•⁠  ⁠Partnered with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate UI/UX needs into technical solutions, improving in-store customer experience across pharmacy and front-store registers

•⁠  ⁠Managed QA and production pharmacy register UI and Docker container deployments for CVS at Target stores, including performance monitoring and on-call support

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering or  equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent  with relevant experience.
